Happiness is stamping with friends!

Beauty by the Sea

Hi bloggies!

I have had a big hole in my male stamp stash … and finally decided to purchase a set I have been eyeing off for ages. “Beauty by the Sea” by Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. How ironic that just after I buy it … SU! brings a new set out in the new catty that is very similar. I am content with my purchase, though … and have used it a few times already!

This card was inspired by one created by Janette Olen. I am so ‘rusty’ when it comes to stamping at the moment … that I am finding myself turning to my ‘to CASE’ file all the time for inspiration. It is almost like I have forgotten the art of stamping!!! (Sigh!) I keep telling myself … that next year will be quieter … and I can get back to stamping more regularly … and remember the skills I have been working on over the last 5 years.

Bree is here … so I should go. Skye is also baby sitting another little girl today … so they should keep each other occupied! You never know … I might even find a few moments to stamp! I really do need to think about Christmas Cards …. oooh … and a wedding card for Sheree & Murray!! Hope you all have a nice day!

  1. That is stunning, I love the colours. I bought the Papertery camping set just before SU released there. I’d wanted one for years for my male friends who love camping. Now I need a camper-triler stamp lol.

  2. Lovely card, lovely colours – almost like it is from Seaweed, Surf & Sand 😉
    Have a lovely day.

  6. Oh, this is such a nice card, Andrea. I love the colors. And that label. I wondered where you got the die and then discovered you used a punch — and one I already have! Gotta make some of those labels. I am going to CASE your idea, for sure. Hugs.

  7. Beautiful card Andrea. Love the soft colors and your custom made background with all the pretty images. The rows of brads look great.
