Quickly …

Christmas Kim '12 (4)Hi bloggies!

I am here … but only for a few minutes. I spent 3 hours yesterday (with Mum’s help) ironing THE bridal gown, 1 bridesmaid dress, 3 suits & shirts for my boys & Gav & my dress. I still have a pile sitting here … THE groom’s suit & shirt … 2 groomsmen suits & shirts … 1 more bridesmaid dress & 1 flower girl dress. So … I need to get onto that job while Bree is asleep! 2 sleeps! I can hardly believe it. After the “extended” weather forecast saying for 2 weeks that the day will be sunny … suddenly there is the possibility of showers!!!!! 😯 With an outdoor ceremony … this may be a problem. 🙄 But … we know that God has everything in His hands … and no matter what … it is going to be a beautiful wedding!

Christmas Kim '12 (1)Christmas Kim '12 (3)I have had some wonderful inspiration from my blog friends for my Christmas Cards this year. This design was by Kim Singdahlsen … a fav of mine. Her cut image square (a patchwork quilt) was a little smaller … but I managed to make the bigger squares from the “Snow Festival” DSP work with Kim’s layout. (Wish I had remembered to put the little heart on the tree! 😀

Well … off to the ironing board! All is calm … but we are all pretty tired! I can’t believe we have to get up at 4am on Saturday … for a 4.45am hair appointment! (What a wonderful hairdresser we have!) Sheree had her heart set on a breakfast wedding … and the ceremony begins at 8am! But … with so much positive feedback (esp. from the boys — a buffet breakfast — YUM!) we are sure no one will mind the early start! I will be back to see you all once I have recovered from our big weekend!!! 😉
