Well … I am super tired this morning! We went to Keith Urban’s concert in Sydney and didn’t get home until 2:30am!! We decided to go by train …. Because it takes an hour to get out of the car park at Allphones Arena … BUT … That was a mistake! We had to change trains twice each trip … Wait in between trains … And there are not a lot of trains that late at night. It was fun & exciting … But I think I am getting too old to be out that late at night! The concert was fantastic! Keith is such an entertainer … And soooooo talented. He was so good at getting the crowd involved. I did enjoy it! The Madden brothers were the back up band an Keith also had Guy Sebastian, Jimmy Barnes & Joel & Benji come on and sing a song each with him. What a great night. I am paying for the late night today … But I am thankful I can be home with Bree. Murray, Sheree & Gav all had to get up & go to work!! Sandy had to go to school … (2nd day back this year!) I hope he doesn’t fall asleep on his desk!
Today’s card is one I made for Sheree’s birthday on 19th January! Yes … It is taking me a while to get here at the moment! I used a new embossing folder that took my fancy a little while ago! Sorry … the lighting is not so good with these photos. It was a little hard to capture the soft chalks on the embossing! I used a Versamarker pen to “colour” over the raised embossing then sponged some of my new “Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks” over the top. The Versamark ‘holds’ the chalk on the card. This was such a Q&E card! But … perfect for my sweet Sheree.
I guess I should go and play with Bree … although … Shane is doing a great elephant impersonation at the moment! Hope to see you again soon!

Am I jealous…slightly…but I am also wrapped you had a fab night. Seeing all that hot stuff on stage at once would have been one for the senses indeed…….insert seamless segway…..
As this card is!!!! I love the looks of the soft chalk in the embossing. I have NEVER had any luck with this techy….so it is nice to see it when it wkd well. I am sure Sheree was blown away by it!! GORJUS. ooxx

I know we are the same age – and I most definitely am not able to handle late night concerts!!! I was most impressed that you made that card the next day – but then I read your words and realized you had done it earlier. I was glad because I didn’t feel quite so old!!

Oh, how pretty Andrea. Love the embossed images and the soft colors. Very feminine and delicate. We’ve been watching Keith on American Idol over here… it must have been a fun night despite the train issues. I haven’t been at a concert in ages…
