Hello there!

Papillion Potpourri Feb'13 (3)Hi bloggies!

At the craft retreat I went to in February I saw some wonderful projects that were made using some new SU! goodies! I had been trying so hard to resist … but came home and just HAD TO order some. They arrived a little while ago … but I have only just had a little time to play with them. This is my first card using new “Papillion Potpourri” stamp set … and the 2 new butterfly punches! So quick & easy to put a delicious card together!

Papillion Potpourri Feb'13 (4)I added some “Dazzling Details” to the butterflies … a quick alternative to embossing with bling … but it does tend to make the ink bleed a little. Still a nice effect, though!

It is school holidays for the next two weeks. I love the ‘non-routine’ of the holidays. Skye only has 1 week off uni (next week) … so I hope to do a few things with her and Sandy. I also have Gav’s brother-in-law & a mission colleague coming to stay with us for 8 days on Monday … so do have to do some preparations for that. So … time for blogging will be a little tricky! I will be back asap, though! My back is still niggling … so sometimes I just don’t feel like sitting in front of the computer at the end of a busy day! Hope you stick with me, though! 😉 Hope you have a nice day!

Love your “blinged” butterflies – gorgeous, and the colour combo is sweet too!! Also love your row of flowers 🌸

Hope you find time to do all your jobs over the next few weeks!

Someone once said “They said “I wish there was another day in the week”, but I say “I wish there was another day in the weekend!”. ” Too true!😉 I guess if we just had weekends, we wouldn’t appreciate them!

I have been so bad with my blog checking lately. Life has been so busy. But I just caught up on your blog and really, really, like what you have been doing. Today is such a pretty card. Love the stamp set and love that border punch. I also really like the way you did the ribbon on your April 10th entry. I have to try that. Take care, and many hugs to you.

Hmmm…. so pretty and dreamy… LOVE the beautiful butterflies… especially the big one. The touch of sparkle looks perfect. Also like that swirly leaf wine… very elegant. I love that set and the matching punch.
