Fifth Avenue Floral sympathy

Fifth Avenue Floral Bill'13 (4)Hi bloggies!

Life is hectic! I know I say that a lot … but it JUST IS!!! Am in planning mode for Skye’s 21st party on 5th July … and we have a trip to Vanuatu to visit Gav’s sister & her family – who are missionaries in Vila – also in July. I have so many things running through my head … I really need to sit and write some lists!!

Fifth Avenue Floral Bill'13 (1)Fifth Avenue Floral Bill'13 (3)This was a sympathy card that I found via Pinterest. Yes … my new ‘go-to’ for ideas … especially at the moment when I don’t have a single original idea in my head!!! This is a slight adaption of Donna Heber’s card. I just loved this one the instant I saw it … so I dusted off my Fifth Avenue Floral set … and this is the result!

Fifth Avenue Floral Bill'13 (5)I thought I would show you a close up of the flower. Not my best colouring … but it is very pretty anyway! The details for colouring the rose are on my card recipe at the end of this post!

Well … I MUST start looking for ideas for Skye’s invitations … need to get them done & posted! Will be back as soon as I can!

PS … Sorry the pics are a little ‘blown away’!

Very pretty Andrea. That rose is beautiful with the soft coloring. The gold embossing is a lovely touch! I love Pinterest… except I pin way too many ideas but not do any! LOL!

What a beauty …. love your rose image combined with the Love and Sympathy and Flowering Flourishes images. The gold trimmed ribbon is so beautiful with the gold embossed rose! Lovely work!
