Wedding Joy!

Hi bloggies!

It has been awhile … I know! Life has been frantic but happy. I can’t even begin to list all that has been going on over the last 3 months or so … but it has been a doozy time for us! I am soooo tired … but also happy! Apart from extended house guests, wedding prep & Christmas we have also done a mini reno to the house to create a walk in pantry/storage/craft room to enable us to declutter our main living/kitchen areas. We have been filling in walls, painting & clearing out cupboards & all that goes with steamlining things! We are not finished … with a minor kitchen facelift still to do and more painting … but there is light at the end of the tunnel!

But … the BIG event of Skye & Mitch’s wedding on the 11th January … is now a week past … and life has slowed to a dull roar instead of a runaway train! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was just the happiest day … full of joy & blessings. Mitch had a grin from ear to ear all day and made the sweetest, sincerest & most romantic speech ever! Skye wrote & performed a song for him … and we shared the day with so many of our much loved family and friends. Their deep love for God & for each other was so evident to everyone! It was just WONDERFUL! The two photos above are sneak peeks shared by the photographer Michael Boyle on Facebook. They are just stunning! I can’t wait to see the rest! Of course … a lot of prep went into the wedding … and I did want to share the wedding stationery that I made with you all. If anyone would be interested … it will be you guys! The theme was Daisy / Aqua / Lemon & Sparkle! Oh … and the Star Wars mention??? It had to be there … after all Skye is now “Skye Walker”!!!!! 😀 (And Mitch is a Star Wars fan!)

So … lots of pics! Sorry to bombard your downloads! You may have noticed in the photo captions … Shane got engaged to Chloe on NYE!!!!! It was very romantic … at the Sydney NYE fireworks … right on midnight! So another wedding is happening but probably not until early 2015! Might take a few moments to breathe before then! 😉 Hope you are all having a great day! I have a gazillion cards to make (am a little late with a couple) … and it is a rainy day … perfect for crafting! So I will toddle off! Thanks for taking the time to pop by!
