Boy’s Birthday Cards

Rev up the Fun B'day MB Aug14 (4)Hi bloggies!

Son-in-law no. 2 (as in 2nd married … not 2nd in favourites!) is having his birthday today. So … I thought I would share his birthday card with you all.

Rev up the Fun B'day MB Aug14 (1)Rev up the Fun B'day MB Aug14 (3)The colours haven’t photographed particularly well … and I think I made them worse with some photo editing trying to get them closer to real. These are three of the new SU! in-colours teamed with one from last year. Blackeberry Bliss (should be a little redder/blacker?) … Lost Lagoon (should be a little deeper?) … Meadow Moss (seems pretty close?) … and Pistachio Pudding (shouldn’t be so bright?) Trust me though … these colours are FABULOUS together! Card Inspiration: HERE!

Chalk Talk B'day MW Jul14 (4)A bonus card … created on the same day … using the same colours … is Son-in-law no. 3’s birthday card (for July).

Chalk Talk B'day MW Jul14 (1)This is such a fun design … so quick and easy … and I have to give credit (again) to another creative cardmaker! Card Inspiration: HERE! I always add the names of the people I have CASEd in my tags list on each post … so you can check them out if you are interested! Hope to see you again soon! Hugs xxx

Kuddos to you– you are brave trying to edit the colors for the photo. My accomplishment– I can now efficiently copy and paste website address to email. We who were born in ’38—well— takes a bit longer to make brain space for all this technology. Enjoy following you.
    Hugs and smiles, Reva

I like the card AND I like the bonus! They are great colors – cheerful and fresh, yet can clearly still be nicely masculine. The tire tracks are a great touch and that grid background always fills things in so nicely (I can’t believe that I didn’t get that stamp before it retired – I kick myself every time that I see it)! And you definitely cannot go wrong with a spray of stars and sequins!

Love your masculine vibe cards Andrea….VERY cool indeed. Purples and greens together HAVE to be one of my all time fave combos.

Oooh … no … haven’t used them all! I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to the silver pearls! But … I am starting to get low … and I do love them … and would love to use them more freely if I could get my hands on some! (Don’t fancy a trip back to Singapore … do you? [Was it Singapore where you got them for me?]) Hugs xxx
