Another quick and easy card today … and another that has been sitting in my files for months! I have had a lot of wedding & engagement cards to make recently and have found some fabulous inspiration around in cyber space! There are some wonderfully clever crafters out there!
This background stamp “En Francais” (SU!) is definitely a favourite of mine. It always gives such an elegant look to a card. I am also a HUGE fan of the soft seam binding … must get remember to use it more often … I love the look. I really like the contrast of the Vanilla Card and the soft Crumb Cake with the blingy red glimmer paper. Works so well together! Card Inspiration: HERE! (from Better Homes & Gardens Magazine!) There is a card recipe for this one at the end of this post! FYI: Card recipe has a link to original design … but when you type in link to your web browser … change the “#page=27” to 11 instead of 27! I checked the link … and it picks a random page to open. You do need #page=11!
Here are a couple of other recent engagement cards that I made …
This first one was such a quick card to make … with rainbow hearts & a background stamp … not much to it but soooo effective! The little locket with heart trinket was a pretty finishing touch. If anyone can tell me where I can buy some more of these silver half pearls (self adhesive) I would really appreciate your help! Card Inspiration: HERE!
And the second has only the tiniest bit of stamping … and some pretty die cuts in foil and glimmer paper. I have also used some of the SU! foil vellum. It gives such a soft and feminine look to the background of the card.
Well … it is a cold, rainy, miserable winter’s night … and I am keen for bed! Might have something to share with you tomorrow! Hugs xxx
