I DID A CHALLENGE!!!

I actually did a 2-in-1 challlenge!!!! 2 challenges in 1 card! Do you realise it is 18 months since I have done a challenge! I just checked … Feb 6, 2013 to be exact!!! Really???? Where has that time gone? Anyway … you will understand … I AM a little rusty … but here it is …

My starting point was the fabulous colour choices from “One Layer Simplicity” …  (This is my first card ever for this challenge!) … And I combined this with the lovely layout at an all time fav “Clean & Simple”.

You can see I have used a couple of the new SU! in-colours … “Lost Lagoon” & “Hello Honey” along with “Night of Navy” … colours picked from the “Shades of Summer #3” colour swatch at OLS. I don’t have any oval frames … so chose a different shape … but the layout is similar to the CAS design. I am wishing I put a BIG sentiment across the frame … but was in a bit of a hurry to get the OLS challenge done because it finishes today … and so … didn’t check the layout properly! The cute bucket and spade is a great die from Cottage Cutz called “Pail & Shovel”! I have two CC dies … and definitely will be adding more to my wish list! They are so cleverly designed!

Well … I am off to do some grocery shopping done and get my week organised! Sandy has state athletics this Wednesday (4 events) and I need to re-organise grand kid minding, pick ups, etc etc. I hope to go along … but need to get myself organised first! Have a great week! Hugs xxx
