Leonie and I both made this card and both decided we were unsure if we actually liked it. I think it actually looked better on Tami’s blog … than it did IRL. (in real life)
Perhaps it is NOT actually the design … because it is quite a stunning effect. Perhaps it is that I decided to turn it into a SYMPATHY card??? Maybe the bling and the occasion just don’t go together!??? Perhaps it is that on Tami’s original … there was a more obvious tag sentiment that ‘broke up’ the shimmer a bit. Maybe mine looks a bit overdone??? Well … the jury is still out … what do you think????
We have used (like Tami did) the “Dazzling Diamonds Dust” technique … an oldie but a goodie. It is one I haven’t used in ages … but you might remember a few cards I have done with this techy … including this recent PIN to Pinterest … CHRISTMAS CARD. The DSP roses had some red ink sponged on them before adding the versamark and iridescent ice!

I like the colour and the sparkle. Perhaps it is the sentiment panel? you are not happy with in contrast to Tami’s? It is the only difference I can see. Your card is beautiful just different to Tami’s.
