Our cheeky little monkey had is birthday yesterday and I thought I would share the card I made for him. But … before I show you the finished project … I wanted to show you the first attempt …

I actually sat down about a month ago to make Seth’s card and realised that I was very lacking in stamp sets for kids … especially boys. So … I indulged a little with these two sets …
Left: Clearly Besotted – Cheeky Monkey ………. Right: Simon Says Stamp – Stacking Animals
Both have matching die sets and can be purchased from Simon Says Stamp.
I had to patiently wait for them to arrive … but … this is the finished result …..

The inside of the card had a little surprise …
A little spinning monkey … inspired by a recent creation of Jennifer McGuire! (Click link for video tutorial!)

3 years old and Grams and found the perfect stamp for his card. I do believe he has the same gleeful expression I have seen on Bree’s face in pictures you have posted.

This is just the cutest card – for an even cuter little boy!! And I just know the little spinning monkey made him smile!!
I’m a ways away from little ones in my life given I just got my oldest off for his first year in college (after he took a little time off to find his way) and my 16-year old just went back to a regular high school after a year doing it online. He’s at a Christian high school and loving it so much more than the huge public high school that didn’t work so well for him.
