Christmas time

I have just about finished my Christmas cards for this year. It did help that I had done a heap of COPIC colouring while we were on holidays at Dolphin Point in October.

I was actually going to add this embossed tree to one of my coloured images but realised it was too fussy and that it could be a stand alone card. In the end I was happy with the decision. The dry embossing is done on vellum card and has been coloured on the back side using gold Wink of Stella and on the front side using clear Wink of Stella. It is pretty hard to see … but it has a lovely shimmer.

I know, Lynda! What am I to do with myself now that after 26 years I am no longer a school mum!?????? Feeling like it hasn’t really sunk in yet. I guess when school resumes in 2017 I might notice something is different. And … I will be stuck at home again … once Sandy is at uni and using my car to get there! Perhaps that will mean more time for creating??? All new for me!!! Treasure this time with your kids … it flies past so quickly! Hugs xx

Such a handsome group of young people!! Was it hard – the end of an era as you had mentioned in your last post?!

Your card is stunning! I do like the simple background to that elegant golden tree with his sparkly sequin ornaments.
