Eastern Medallion Love

Hello friends!

I must admit that this card today was one of those that I wasn’t 100% happy with but I wanted to share it because it is a little different to most of the cards I have shared lately. Yes! – no COPIC colouring anywhere! 😉

I needed to make an anniversary card and pulled out the sweet “Falling in Love” papers from SU! as a starting point. I also had a set of SU! thinlits that I bought around the same time but hadn’t used yet and thought it was about time I used them. And then… nothing! Zip! I just couldn’t get the Mojo flowing. So… out came the Distress oxides for some blending on the medallion! I don’t know why – but they seem to be my “GO TO” lately.

So my “LOVE” anniversary card finally came together with some pretty glimmer card and I finished it off with some Nuvo silver crystal drops. Somehow this was the perfect accent! 😀
