A little while ago I shared a bunch of cards that I made using the Simon Says Stamp Oct 2017 Card kit and said I would share more with you as I made them. Today is the first of another batch. Check back here each day for more! 🙂

One of my favourite items in the kit is the cutie pie flower die … which is now available to buy as an individual item.

And ………. I made good use of this kit ……… this is all I had left over after making this second lot of cards.
On a sad note … today we said goodbye to our beautiful Holly. I am going to miss her so much … she had the sweetest nature and was so affectionate and just so gentle with our little grandchildren. We had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to avoid any suffering after she was diagnosed with cancer that was quite aggressive and nasty. I am devastated to lose such a devoted companion. I might need chocolate tonight!

Such gorgeous cards.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know exactly what you are going through. We lost our black lab in October with think to cancer. She made the decision for us by stopping to eat and stopping the fight. We have now had a chocolate kelpie/lab cross for about 3 weeks and he is still learning he is about 1 year old.

Thanks Vicki! I am particularly sad because we have always had a dog around … at one point we had 3! Each one has had a special place in our hearts and all had such beautiful and gentle natures. And we lost each one over time. Holly was rescued from a broken marriage… neither party wanting to take her. She was special. All our dogs were! And … now we have none! Sigh! With the prospect of having to rent for two years while development happens around our property … we can’t think about another at this point. Makes it harder! But … I know it will just take a little time and I will be ok. Thanks for your concern.

Oh Andrea……I am so sorry to hear of your dog’s passing. Sending heaps of hugs to you and your family…….I think you can do the chocolate tonight.
The cards fm the kit are beautiful. Love the fact so little left over.
