Die Cuts and Copics

Hi bloggies!

I have a rather different design today with almost NO stamping. I can’t take credit for this idea (again)! 😉 I found a similar design on Instagram by Leigh Houston and just had to try it out.

So … this card was done in a couple of sittings! (You can see the first image below has only a few flowers on it.) All the die cuts are coloured with Copic markers (the yellow are missing from photo) and did take a while. So I had to be in an OCD mood to finish it. And … although I am tickled with the result, I think Leigh’s is nicer … it is fuller and more elegant! It was fun to play with, though.

  • “You” Die ... Sorry … unknown brand

Have a lovely day. Hugs xxx

Very time consuming … the original inspiration was die cut from coloured card! But I do like the result. Xx

Dear Andrea, This card is so interesting. I apologise for not commenting of late. Really like the stamping bella young lady who is so intently reading–Just could not seem to find where to comment–clicked and clicked and finally found this entry with a place to comment. So happy your vacation has been enjoyable and is quieting down a bit–continue to enjoy.
    Hugs and smiles Reva

The vacation turned into a bit of an adventure … Gav broke his collarbone skate boarding with our son and son-in-law! It has been a busy time as he hasn’t been able to drive for 6 weeks … but has finally managed yesterday to get back behind the wheel. Hugs xxx

These are lovely. I never think to take the time to color them – but it’s a fabulous look!
