Happiness is stamping with friends!

My Stamping Space!

I thought I would add a page to my blog to show you where I like to craft. I think I probably have the best view in the world … but sometimes in the afternoons it gets pretty warm with the sun beating in. I do have to keep this room reasonably tidy … because it is actually our “formal dining room” … and opens directly off our main lounge area. I did think about putting up a partition … but haven’t ever got around to finding a nice one! Perhaps I should think about that sometime???

Anyway … here … is … MY STAMPING SPACE!!!  Click on the pics to view larger photos.

Look at that view! I am so blessed! This is where I sit to blog and stamp!

I am also blessed with lots of space and lots of light! My circle scissors sit on my desk (under the “scrap” bucket) … nice & handy so I don’t have an excuse NOT to use it! (Sorry … the chair is blocking my CSP!) The big bookshelf has baskets that store LOTSA STUFF! One has my non-SU! ribbons & embellishments. One has my tools such as my binding machine / crimper / powder pals etc. Another has plastic / cellophane / gift bags. Another has all my “excess” supplies. (I like to have snail, dimenionals, etc available for customers if they need them urgently.) The baskets under the chairs have all my bookwork folders etc.

This is my stamp set bookshelf. The "coloured" DVDs hold some non-SU! stamps. The box on the bottom shelf has my wheel stamps & handles. I was going to move the pepsi max ... so you didn't know how addicted I am ... but decided to let you see warts & all! The trolley I use for workhshops & the bags in the corner are for transporting my paper work & catalogues. The basket holds my retired SU! sets for sale!

These sets of drawers (Howards Storage World) hold all my wood mounted phrase stamps. (Yes ... I have split up some of my sets from their original.) The stickers indicate what type of stamps are in the drawer. Eg "birthday" "occasions" "christmas" etc.

My SU! ribbons are stored in a pretty folk art wooden tray.

Pity I couldn't fit them all in the tray ... these ones are in a BORING brown shoe box!

My Big Shot is on its own shelf ... with my BS accessories. (I have been pretty restrained so far ... I think.) It is really handy and easy to grab when I need to use it.

My punches sit on Howards Storage World towel rails ... and the excess is in the basket just below. (Including my new style punches.) I have yet to organise these a little more efficiently. You can also see the white wicker basket that holds my clear blocks ... right in reach & easy to grab when I need them.

This small shelf with two wicker baskets is really handy for all those things you use regularly. Adhesives / scissors / brayer / spritzer / aqua painter / bone folder etc etc etc. (Although ... I do have a pretty cardboard box sitting right in front of me on my desk ... with all my "go tos" - snail/snips/dimensionals etc. The top of these shelves is the home for my markers (in another pretty cardboard box - flat so I can readily see the different colours) ... my paper cutter & scrub. The magazine rack holds my catalogues / class prep files / stampin' supplies list & other handy stuff!)

The left set of drawers houses all my cardstock - 5 colours per drawer. My stamp pads & re-inkers sit on top. (Another HSW set of drawers). The pretty folk-art set of drawers houses all my SU! embellishments including rhinestones / hemp twine / pretties kit / hodgepodge / sweet treat cups etc. And ... my buttons & brad sit in the SU! storage container on top.

I store 5 colours in each drawer. My card scraps are in the same drawer in a clear plastic folder. I don't keep anything smaller than about 1/4 x A5 ... as I had to ditch a big box of smaller scraps that I never used. So ... I am a little more ruthless about my scraps now! I find this system really fab ... as I always check the plastic folder before chopping into a new sheet of card. Easy & efficient!

I hope you enjoyed taking a little peek into my stamping world! Thanks for visiting! I hope you pop by again soon! I always love to read your comments! Giggle 😀
