Happiness is stamping with friends!

A little birdie told me …

Hi bloggies …

I had fun on a recent week away down the coast catching up on YouTube videos from some of my fav card makers. It was a treat to have unlimited downloads so I made the most of it! Today’s card is the result of some wonderful inspiration from Kelly Latevola … I just had to try this watercolour scene as soon as I got home to my craft goodies!

Kelly’s video tutorial can be found here –> YouTube – Kelly’s card.

I was pretty tickled with the result.

A Great combo!

Hi my blog friends!

I had a few quick moments yesterday and pulled a couple of cards together for 2 challenges! It is nice to be stamping again … and I enjoyed taking some time out to challenge myself a little! This colour combo is FABBO! It is the latest “monochromatic” challenge from Dynamic Duos. I can’t believe how much I have missed these challenges! When DD started 3 months ago … I was determined that this would be ONE challenge I would do every week. But … sadly … life decided otherwise! 😦 I do so love a DUO colour challenge!

Tiddly Inks … a fav of mine for cutie pie digital images has just released it’s first set of clear stamps! The Wryn images are so adorable … so I couldn’t resist getting a couple of these stamp sets! I love this ‘Hang in There’ set … it is a fun way of saying ‘Thinking of You’. I should have resisted adding the II embossing powder because adding the Versamark pen meant the white colouring became a little washed out … not quite so striking. But … it still looks nice … I think! 🙂

Sandy is off to his zone athletics carnival today. Did I tell you he got age champion at the school carnival? 😀 He is going for several events … a busy day! I hope he goes well. It is the first time ever that I haven’t been able to go with him. It is disappointing that I don’t have a car today … all are “taken” … and I am stuck at home. I know he is still keen for us to go … which is nice for a 14 year old … so I feel a little sad that I can’t go and watch. I will … instead … be doing bookwork! YUK!!! End of month invoicing … and filing! I hope you have a great day!
