Easter Box Tutorial

Hi everyone … We had a FAB time at our project class last Friday. For those who are wanting to join one of my classes … then here is what you can expect!

Project Class for February – Easter Gift Packaging x 6

We did 6 different types of Easter gift packaging … all different sizes … so you can find one that suits different size eggs! Great for the budget! You don’t have to spend so much on eggs … when you present them so beautifully!! 😀

So … I thought I would share a tutorial for the gorgeous “Easter Box” … this would fit a medium size egg.

First … here is a template for your box (cut from complete piece of A4 card stock) … don’t forget you can enlarge by clicking on the pic!

And here are the pics for the tutorial …

1. Cut template for box from A4 sheet cardstock

2. Stick coordinating DSP onto longer strips of template

3. Add sticky strip to flap (along seam on ‘RIGHT’ side of box & along bottom flap on ‘WRONG’ side) as shown in photo. Assemble box sticking side flap first & then fold all bottom flaps in leaving the flap with sticky strip until last.

4. Hold sides together & punch hole through using crop-a-dile

5. Set jumbo eyelets into both sides & tie together with coordinating ribbon

6. Decorate box as you desire

This is a super easy gift packaging project!

Here is the finished sample … and another using a gorgeous Whiff of Joy Stamp! For the box on the left I used the “A Good Egg” stamp set. Both boxes have “Easter Wishes” from the “Seasonal Wishes” stamp set & I have used  “Afternoon Tea” DSP & coordinating cardstock: Choc Chip, Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Whisper White. Ribbons & accessories – some are SU! & others are from my own stocks. I hope you can try one for yourself. Why don’t you send me a pic of your sample?
