Hi bloggies!
I have been getting a lot of ideas from some of the Simon Says Stamp designers lately. One of their design ideas is to stamp with a light coloured ink and then coloured with copics to make it look like a watercoloured image.
So … the COPIC colouring is not perfect on this one with definite ‘edges’ to the blending. Perhaps next time I need to do it a little softer to get that real watercolour effect look??? You can see who this card was intended for … yes … both mum’s got the same card this year. Normally I do 2 different ones for mother’s day … but I loved this feminine one so much I added the sentiment and popped them away for mother’s day.
The sentiment is silver heat embossed on vellum. A little bling dresses the card up and gives a lovely finish. I do love the soft image layering I did on the background … looks a treat IRL (in real life)!
