I am back from Q’ld … but still popping a scheduled post up … because I do have a bit to catch up on after a couple of busy weeks! Today I am sharing a couple of cards ‘for the boys’!
I made two of this first card … one for my nephew’s birthday and one for my father-in-law for Father’s Day. The DSP is from the SU! paper stack called “Moonlight”. It is a great combo of colours … particularly for the boys! The sentiment is an oldie (“All Year Cheer II”) and I have layered it on the versatile “Off the Grid”. Card Inspiration: Amy O’Neill.
The second card was a quick and easy birthday card using the lovely Sweet n Sassy “Beauty by the Sea” and the same SU! paper stack for the background papers. I haven’t had this stamp set out for a while … and it was nice to dust it off!
I had another play with my SU! Blendabilities … and am still finding it a bit of an effort to get the blending ‘just right’! I just wish the lightest tone of the colours were a little paler in intensity. I do find I play around a bit too much with the ink. I think I need to let them dry properly before adding more. I think I am improving????? Have fun today … whatever you are doing! Hugs xxx

Glad you have arrived safely home Andrea. These are cool cards for the boys. I love the shell one and I think the colouring looks great. 🙂
